NEW YORK, NEW YORK –  For the 2018 awards, Battery was chosen by an international jury to take home a Bronze Clio for their Netflix is a Joke campaign. The Clios are one of the world’s most respected industry accolades for advertising, design, and communications, and Battery’s short form submission established their place in the list of Clio film category winners.

Named for the mythic Greek muse of history, fame, and celebration, the Clio Awards are known for their democratic approach to recognizing creative excellence. Fewer than 20% of submissions within a media type survive the first two rounds, from which juries re-evaluate the top 5% of work to choose the finalists.

This honor comes on the heels of a rewarding year for Battery, with recognition as one of Ad Age’s Small Agencies of the Year in 2018 and one of the top 20 Fastest Growing Private Companies by the Los Angeles Business Journal. Battery has also been honored with industry awards this year including a Cannes Lion, the Inc. 5000, a D&AD Pencil, Ad Age Campaign of the Year, The One Show, as well being awarded by ThinkLA as their 2018 Boutique Agency of the Year.
